Emma May and Ryan Millward have been friends since 2009 and decided to set up the business in 2014. With Emma's audit background and Ryan's small to medium sized business expertise they make a great team. Their individual skill sets complement each other and they both have the energy and enthusiasm for getting the best for their clients.
Laura joined the team in October 2017 and in February 2018 they moved into an office in Wokingham town centre. Owen joined in May 2018, Josh joined in September 2018 and Graham joined in February 2019 to help service their growing client base.

Meet the Team
Emma May, BA ACA
Emma started her accountancy career at Deloitte where she qualified as a chartered accountant and managed audits across a wide range of industries, specialising in small and medium enterprises. She then moved into industry, leading monthly management reporting and financial planning processes at leading retailer, John Lewis plc.
Since starting the practice, she has broadened her remit into personal taxation and advises on technical areas such as the the ever-changing rental property tax rules and tax implications of UK residents moving abroad. She has worked with a number of start-ups as well as established businesses and has significant experience in using and implementing cloud accounting systems.
After hanging up her football boots in 2014, Emma took up triathlon and has since completed a 38 mile ultra marathon and more recently a full Ironman. She is also the treasurer for her Tri Club, Thames Valley Triathletes.

Ryan Millward, BSc FCCA
Ryan grew up in the Wokingham area and attended the Forest School. After his A-Levels he studied Physics at Cardiff University and then worked for a local accountancy practice whilst studying for his professional qualification. Whilst there, he served a diversity of businesses and was able to build up his knowledge of the UK tax system. He specialises in the construction industry scheme (CIS) and assisting his clients with cloud solutions. He is a fully qualified Chartered Certified Accountant.
He is a sports enthusiast and plays football to a relatively high standard. His family roots are in the North of England, resulting in an unfortunate support for Bolton Wanderers FC.

Graham High ACCA
Graham started his career in industry working for a FTSE 100 training outsourcing company while studying towards his AAT qualification. He then made his move into practice by joining a Top 100 firm based in the south east. Here he completed his ACCA qualification and gained experience in accounts preparation, corporation tax and auditing clients.
Graham enjoys playing football and going to the gym. He also enjoys going for motorcycle rides and socialising with friends.
After completing her A-Levels at Henley College, Laura took a gap year and travelled around Europe by rail. She is now starting her training with Millward, May & Co alongside studying with Kaplan Financial Business School in Reading to achieve the level 4 AAT qualification and become a fully qualified accountant.
Laura is a gym enthusiast and enjoys socialising with friends in her spare time.

Since completing his A-Levels at Farnborough Sixth Form College, Owen worked as a Legal Accounts Assistant before starting his training with Millward, May & Co. He is working towards completing the Level 4 AAT qualification working alongside Kaplan Financial with the end goal of becoming chartered.
Owen is a lover of cars and animals, he also enjoys playing video games with his friends.

After completing his A-Levels at Piggott School Sixth Form, Josh went straight into training with Millward, May & Co studying with First Intuition in Reading, working to complete the Level 3 AAT qualification with a long term goal of becoming a chartered accountant.
Josh enjoys playing football and volleyball and travelling around the country to support Ipswich Town FC.
