Back in 2014, we decided to turn our shared passion into something more by starting Millward, May & Co.

In the beginning, we tackled all sorts of accountancy work, but over time, we discovered what truly excites us: helping business owners succeed. That’s why we decided to specialise in supporting businesses just like yours.

Emma Cooke, BA FCA

Emma started her accountancy career at Deloitte where she qualified as a chartered accountant and managed audits across a wide range of industries, specialising in small and medium enterprises. She then moved into industry, leading monthly management reporting and financial planning processes at John Lewis.

She currently enjoys helping small and medium sized businesses with their accounting and taxation needs as well as applying her unique skillset in reporting and forecasting to work closely with businesses who need more tailored help.

After hanging up her football boots, Emma took up triathlon and enjoys racing at all distances. She likes to travel and compete in new locations.

I love helping businesses work towards and achieve their goals. My extensive experience enables me to understand what each client needs and provide them with the best possible advice.

Ryan Millward, BSc FCCA

Ryan grew up in the Wokingham area and attended The Forest School. After completing his A-Levels, he went on to study Physics at Cardiff University. He later joined a local accountancy practice, where he trained and qualified professionally while gaining hands-on experience advising a wide range of businesses.

Ryan has worked with clients across diverse sectors and specialises in helping businesses save time and operate more efficiently by embracing the latest technology. He is particularly passionate about streamlining processes and providing practical, forward-thinking solutions that make a real difference.

Outside of work, Ryan is a keen sports enthusiast who enjoys playing a variety of sports in his spare time. With family roots in the North of England, he remains a devoted (if sometimes painfully loyal) supporter of Bolton Wanderers F.C.

I pride myself on providing the highest level of service that I can. Every client is unique, so I take the time to understand them and their business, delivering bespoke, actionable advice.

Samantha Leach, BSc MAAT

With a diverse professional background and a strong analytical mindset, Samantha brings a fresh perspective to the team. After university, she spent several years working in pain management as a soft tissue therapist before retraining in accountancy and achieving her AAT Accountant qualifications. She is now in the final stages of her ICAEW Chartered qualification.

Samantha takes a logical, detail-focused approach to her work and is known for being proactive, dedicated and committed to continuous learning to enhance the value she provides. Passionate about delivering a personalised service, she strives to go above and beyond so clients feel valued and supported.

Outside of work, Samantha enjoys exploring her creative side through painting, crochet and baking.

Robson Kerr, MAAT

Robson grew up near Camberley and completed his A-Levels in PE, Maths and Accounting. After finishing college, Robson joined Millward, May & Co as a trainee accountant apprentice looking to start his full time working career. He has now completed both his Level 3 and Level 4 AAT qualifications during his time at Millward May, now progressing onto ICAEW’s Level 7 ACA Qualification.

Robson is a young keen worker who is still looking to achieve higher qualifications within accounting.

Robson enjoys playing and watching football (having represented the Aldershot schools district team) and socialising with his friends.

Zohaib Ilyas

Born and raised in Reading, Zohaib completed 3 A levels, plus an EPQ, where he investigated cybercrime whilst also maintaining a job in the retail sector.

After finishing his A levels, he joined Millward, May & Co as an apprentice, where he is looking to establish himself within the accounting industry.

Zohaib is a motivated and dedicated employee, who is committed to providing customers with a great outcome.

He enjoys working out, reading true crime books, and watching TV series, recently starting Game of Thrones.

Dominik Taylor

Dom grew up in Fleet and completed his A-Levels in Business, Economics & Accounting. Following college he took a gap year (twice) where he backpacked South East Asia with his friends for 7 months and then 9 months later went solo backpacking through Central & South America for 70 days!

15 countries later Dom is very excited to work towards his level 3 AAT hoping to keep gaining qualifications and skills as he progresses in the future!

Dom enjoys Running, Football, Golf, Hiking, Gym and just any sports in general. He also enjoys Photography & Videography especially when travelling
